Jimmy Marcelino. 2023. An Analysis of Grammatical Errors in Students’ Writing Product at English Departement In One Private University In Sintang. Thesis. English Language Education Study Program. STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang. Advisor 1: Sijono, M. Pd., Advisor II: Ferdinanda Itu Meo, M.Pd Keywords: writing, grammartical errors, error analysis This research aims to find out the Grammatical Errors in students writing product at One Private University in Sintang. The design of this research was qualitative methods so that the data presented descriptively. In this research the problem that occurs is the lack of students' ability to write descriptive text. The researcher used coding as a tool for analyzing data and documents as a tool for collecting data. To collect data researcher used documents which consisted of twelve student worksheets. The results of the analysis were described in the form of a description. From The students worksheets, the researcher found 102 errors in writing descriptive Text. Those errors consisted of 21 errors in Omission, 5 errors in Addition, 75 errors in Misformation and Misordering with 2 errors. The researcher concluded that, the most dominant error found in students writing product was Missformation.
