ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI RENDAHNYA PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DI SD NEGERI 04 BATI TAHUN PELAJARAN 2016/2017

The purpose of this study was to determine student achievement and the
factors that influence the poor of the student achievement on mathematics at the Sekolah
Dasar Negeri 04 Bati. This is a survey research by using a quantitative approach, the
analysis of the data done by using exploratory factor analysis and descriptive analysis.
Total population was 115 students consisting of 60 men and 55 women. The samples in
this research were 74 students. The data collection was done by using observation
guidelines, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The results of research showed
that student achievement in mathematics at the Sekolah Dasar Negeri 04 Bati in the
academic year 2016/2017 belonged to lower category, and it was found that there were
seven (7) factors affecting it, namely: (1) the factor of school facilities, (2) family, (3)
psychological of students, (4) the ability of students, (5) the interaction of students, (6) the
electronic media, and (7) discipline of students. The factor that contribute the most was a
school facilities factor, that was 20.759%, meanwhile the smallest contribution was the
student discipline factor, that was 4.719% of the total contributions of all the factors or
68.6%
