Abstract

search objective was to analyze learning who dared to use WhatsApp, the advantages and
disadvantages of learning who dared to use WhatsApp and how the efforts of school principals,
teachers, parents and students in overcoming learning deficiencies who dared to use WhatsApp. The
method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Based on research, the learning process
is boldly carried out by means of video calling and sending assignments on the WhatsApp group. The
advantages of learning using WhatsApp, namely evaluation of factors that include cost, application
convenience and teachers' digital literacy skills. Lack of learning in using WhatsApp, namely technical
factors, pedagogical factors, technological factors and internet connection factors. Efforts made in
dealing with these difficulties, namely providing wifi, providing additional tasks, inviting parents to
help their children while studying, asking students and parents to contact if there are materials or tasks
that are not implemented, including tutoring students and buying internet packages before study. This
research can be used as a reference for teachers in teaching, the students it develops increase interest
in learning, the emotions of parents in accompanying children to learn and become a reference for
seeing the implementation of bold learning, the advantages and disadvantages of brave learning and
how the principal, teachers, and people try parents and students in the face of learning deficiencies who
dare to use WhatsApp.
