Abstract
Math is a language that symbolizes a series meant by the statement that
we want to convey. Besides as language, mathematics also serves as a means of
scientific thinking. In this article we will discuss the role of mathematics learning
as a tool to develop scientific thinking on the matter graph of piecewice function.
The conclusion is to expand the role of mathematics as a tool of scientific
thinking, students are able to develop their mathematical thinking so that students
get the knowledge that is meaningful and profound.
