Abstract

The researcher saw that students were less enthusiastic about participating in learning, most students did not pay attention when the teacher explained the material, students were busy themselves, often drowsy and pensive.The value of math is the lowest learning value.This study aims to determine the factors that influence the low motivation of student learning in Public Elementary School 3 Makong on Mathematics subjects. The formulation of the problem in this study is the factors that influence the low motivation of student learning and what dominant
factors influence the low motivation of student learning in mathematics at SDN 3 Makong. This
study uses a quantitative approach with factor analysis and descriptive analysis. The form of this
study is exploratory factor analysis. Data collection techniques used are indirect communication
techniques, direct communication and documentation techniques.The results of factor analysis
found 6 factors that influence the low learning motivation of students who are named factors of
learning facilities, factors of interest, attention factors, self-ability factors, peer factors, and
health factors with a percentage of variance 66.985%. Whereas the most dominant factor
influences the low learning motivation of students which is the learning facility factor with the
percentage of variance 20.914%
