PENGARUH KONDISI SOSIAL EKONOMI ORANG TUA TERHADAP KESIAPAN KERJA SISWA SMK KEAHLIAN TEKNIK KOMPUTER DAN JARINGAN SE-KOTA SINTANG

: The era of global competition is characterized by quality competition. Efforts to prepare
quality human resources are taken through the education process. The purpose of this study was to
find out about the influence of the socio-economic conditions of parents on the work readiness of
students in computer engineering and network in the city of Sint ang. The research method used is a
quantitative descriptive approach. The research population of all Vocational Schools that have a
computer engineering and network expertise program in the city of Sintang totaling 5 schools. the
number of samples used amounted to 99 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The
analysis technique used in this study is simple regression. There is a significant influence between the
variables of parents' socio-economic conditions on the work readiness variable. An analysis get the t
count -3.28, the negative value of t count can be interpreted that it can be interpreted that if the socioeconomic condition of parents is good or earns above the average parents tend to want their children
to continue their studies to the next level or college.
