Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the difference of student’s score
between (VCT) Value Clarification Technique learning model and conventional learning
model on social science at SD Negeri 3 Makong Academic Year 2017/2018. This
research was quasi experimental research with 48 population students at Class V. The
research sample was all pupolation. The data of student’ affective score were collected
through direct observation. The data analysis used parametrix statistic. The ratio of
students’ affective learning outcome using VCT was tested through t-test that used
observation sheet score on experiment and control group. The result of t-test showed that
tcount 2,910 and the ttable value at a significant level of 0.05 was 2.013. Hypothesis
testing proved that tcount>ttable (2,910> 2.013) which meant that the zero hypotheses
(Ho) was rejected. The result showed that there was significant difference of students’
affective learning model between students who used VCT and students who used
conventional learning model on social science at SD Negeri 3 Makong Academic Year
2017/2018.
