WORKSHOP PENGGUNAAN APLIKASI GOOGLE CLASSROOM SEBAGAI SOLUSI PEMBELAJARAN DI ERA NEW NORMAL

The COVID-19 pandemic, which hit Indonesia, has a tremendous impact in various fields, including education. The COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020 caused some schools must be closed to avoid crowds and break the chain of virus spreading. Learning activities that at school are replaced with a learning from home (BDR) system. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the learning from home (BDR) system has not run optimally because most teachers cannot use technology for learning. For this reason, the author realized the need to raise the theme of this activity by choosing Bukit Raya junior high school as the target partner for Community Service (PKM) activities. The method used in this PKM is workshop activities through lectures, discussions, and practicum for two days. The output target of this activity is to increase teachers' understanding and skills in using the Google Classroom application. After conducting this PKM activity, it was found that there was an increase in teacher understanding in using the Google Classroom application with a gain normalization score of 0.59 in the medium category, and the participant's response to the workshop
material was 85.02% in the very good category.
