KONTRIBUSI POLA ASUH ORANG TUA DALAM PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER ANAK(Studi Kasus di Dusun Tempurau Desa Batu Buil Kecamatan Belimbing)

: Family is the main place for children that can grow and develop positive
character. Establishment of positive character can be developed through habituation
values, both social and religious values are internalized through social
interaction.Characters that have formed is expected later can be entrenched and become
a principle of life in the child's life. In this context, parents as the main responsible during
the formation of children's character.Parents should be able to be a good example for
children because most of the time the child spent in the family. Exemplary and habits
become a fundamental step in character education.Shifting values in society began to
frequent. Things that were once considered taboo, is now becoming more common. Cases
of corruption, the phenomenon of the appearance of the teens with tight clothes and mini,
excessive dating style, until pregnant out of wedlock.At school, a lot of cheating going
mass action where the results are highlighted and the process is ignored. At this time,
there was a split of personality (personality split) where the individual has not been able to
unite between words with actions. Cultural inferiority seems to have started to disappear.
Therefore, the parents' parenting right is expected to form the character of the child so that
the child has a mental character that is strong, which always makes the values as a handle
and the principle of life, not only know but also able to apply them in everyday life.That is a
democratic parenting, not permissive parenting that allows any kind or authoritarian
parenting that restrict children. Various aspects, both the families, schools, communities
and nations (the government) need to work together in the character education effort to
succeed.
