Abstract

. This study aims to: (1) describe Student learning styles in Indonesian Language subjects
(2) describe what factors influence student learning styles on Indonesian Language subjects (3)
describe the efforts made by teachers in student learning styles on language subjects Indonesia.
This study used a descriptive qualitative approach to the method used in observation, interviews,
and documentation. The data analysis technique used is using the data analysis technique of the
Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The
results of this study indicate that: First, the learning styles of students in SD Negeri 14 Manis
RayaSubdistrictSepauk have three types of learning styles, namely visual, auditory and kinesthetic
and the most dominant learning styles used are visual learning styles. Second, the factors that
influence students' learning styles in Indonesian language learning are: internal and external
factors that are dominant factors are external, this is because students are more affected by the
outside environment such as from the family, namely students lack of motivation to learn. School
factors, namely from school teachers do not use the media in teaching too much and factors from
the community are related to the outside environment, namely lack of community support for
student learning. Third, the effort that the teacher can make is that the teacher approaches the
students, uses the lecture method, question and answer and discussion, the teacher tries to
condition the learning situation well.
