HUBUNGAN PERSEPSI KEHARMONISAN KELUARGA DAN SELF ESTEEM DENGAN KENAKALAN REMAJA

This research aims to know correlation perception toward family harmony and self esteem with juvenile delinquency. Sample research is SMA Negeri 3 Kuala Kapuas Center of Kalimantan. Subject research of X, XI, XII class as much 100 people. Purposive sampling technique was used to determine the sample of the research.The scales used as the data collects instrument are juvenile delinquency scales, family
harmony perception scales and self esteem. Use scale Likert model which consists of 5 alternative options, while the data analysis method used is regression analysis. The hypothesis show that there is relationship between family toward harmony and self esteem with juvenile delinquency. The regression analysis stated that the result of correlation coefficient is F Reg = 2,363 to p = 0.099 (p > 0,05). This
mean there is not significant correlation between perception toward family harmony and self esteem with juvenile delinquency. Determination coefficient (R2) equals 0,046 or (4,6 %) and that is still other variable to contributs the increase juvenile delinquency thas is not investigated in this research is 95,4 %. This means the hypothesis : “there is correlation between family harmony perception and self esteem with
juvenile delinquency” is not accepted.
