KORELASI POLA ASUH ORANGTUA DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKAPADA SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 5 TENGADAK

The study aimed at examining the correlation between parenting and the l mathematics learning achievement on class IV students of SDN 5 Tengadak in the academic year 2016/2017. The research approach used was quantitative with correlation research method of in form of causal relation. The population of this research is the fourth grade students of SDN 5 Tengadak totaling 32 students. Sample has taken by using saturated sampling technique. Data collection tools in the form of questionnaires and documentation. Finding of the research showed that the correlation between parenting and
mathematics learning achievement of students IV SDN 5 Tengadak academic years 2016/2017 was 0.613 which belonged to strong category. The ttest result showed that the
value of tcount was bigger than ttabl, that was 4,252 > 2.0423. Hence, it could be concluded that there was a positive and significant correlation between parenting and mathematics
learning achievement on class IV students of SDN 5 Tengadak in the academic year
2016/2017.
